Good thing I don't give advice
I was just lookin for some other magazines and happened to find my American Girl magazine from August. I started looking at the Help! column in the back. One girl was talking about being afraid of bees, and how she's scared of them, and whoever answers for the magazine told her to remain calm because they won't hurt you unless they feel threatened. And I said aloud, "Yup. Most bees will leave you alone if you don't freak out. Except the Africanized killer bees, those will swarm you by the thousands and probably sting you to death." So... I probably shouldn't be giving advice. :-D
But another one said her friends were in a crappy "band" and she didn't want to be in it, but was feeling left out. The magazine's response was a bit dull. I would have answered, "If you don't want to be in the band itself, join in by being their manager. You get to be paid to tell everyone how great they are and get them playing at places. And if you're good enough at managing, it won't matter how bad they are, cuz you can always use an autotuner on them."
